Telescopic Handlers

Telehandlers

Product Description

Telehandler is a shortening of “telescopic handler” and is also known as a “teleporter,” “boom lift” or, in the U.S., sometimes as a “cherry picker.” The telehandler can be used as a forklift but functions more as a crane, featuring a telescopic (articulating), cylindrical boom that extends forward and upward from the wheeled carrier.

Most often used with pallet forks, the telehandler can also be fitted with other attachments such as buckets, bucket grabs and winches.

A telehandler offers users a greater reach than straight mast forklifts, with the added capability for reaching inside a trailer and for placing palleted material in high places, such as on roofs. Some models feature stabilizing jacks for use with heavy loads, and many are designed for use on unimproved or even rough terrain.
