Trenchers

Product Description

Trenchers are most commonly used for digging trenches to install electrical cable and drainage management systems applications. Trenchers have a bladed wheel at the front of the machine that does the digging. These blades vary in size depending on the magnitude of the project and width and depth of the required trench, as well as soil conditions.

Trenchers offer many advantages over other excavation methods. They maintain a narrower trench to much greater depths. They remove less soil than a bucket, and generally trench much quicker. The fine, free-flowing characteristics of the soils excavated with a trencher, combined with the narrower trench, save time and labor during backfill and restoration.
